Ryan Ross became the first swinger to win back to back events after another sensational display at Ashley Wood, shooting 6 under his handicap to extend his early lead at the top of the leaderboard
Ryan topped off a hugely dominant display by winning the nearest the pin AND longest drive with a quite unbelievable 366 yard drive where his ball ended up on the green on a par 4!
Roger Hills had a solid day at the office and topped it off by scooping the second of the nearest the pin prizes on the day and our very own President got his season underway landing the nearest the pin in two prize for the day.
Chief snitch Amo was on patrol as ever, ably assisted by the self proclaimed swingers sheriff and there were a number of fines to be dished out. Jacey Butler took a hit for a 6 (SIX) putt on the first green, repeat club abuse offenders David Wallace and Jackie Chan were stung but the biggest fine of the day went to the voice who was caught by the chief snitch himself hitting two balls into the road!
Finally, playing his first swingers event for a while, Jacey Butler took home the wooden spoon by a single shot from our very own crafty cockney Neil Gilbert.
The swingers will descend in isle of purbeck on the 28th March we look forward to seeing you all there
